Light Metering

On the light picture I went up close to his skin and hold down the shutter speed half way down and then move back to take the picture. On the dark picture I went up close to the computer screen and hold down the shutter speed half way down and then move back to take the picture. The first picture had more lighting in it because the focus was on his skin so that cause the the screen to blurs out. The second picture came out dark because the focus was on the screen so that causes everything to dark except the computer screen. It is important to use the metering because if u want your light to even out it will do it for you.
